Savour the moment. Cast your gaze from one peak to the next and experience winter sports at their finest at the head of Tyrol’s Ötztal Valley.

Up here, the air is rather thin. Because where other slopes end, the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort is just beginning – at 1,800m and stretching up to 3,080m above sea level. No wonder that it has been voted one of the ten best Alpine ski resorts several times already and is considered one of the world’s most attractive winter sports destinations. And it’s all thanks to the range and quality of its slopes. Guaranteed snow, ideal conditions and an unrivalled mountain panorama. The diamond of the Alps. Top-class skiing adventures.

Snow coverage from November to May

You can ski in Hochgurgl for more than half the year. The Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort has a long-standing reputation as one of the Alpine destinations with the highest chance of snow. It opens in November – before Tyrol’s other non-glacier ski areas – and visitors can ski on the corn snow right up to May in the warmth of the spring sunshine. Perfect snow and state-of-the-art snow-making facilities ensure first-class conditions on the slopes and 100% guaranteed snow.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air. Experience the delights of wide slopes above the tree line and the fresh, deep snow. The ideal snow conditions have also made the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort an insider’s tip for freeriders. Descents or ski touring, snowboarding or carving – look forward to high spirits high in the Alps.
